By tying a Bagnall Bar into your rig the bait is help tight behind the sinker and as it is fixed at both ends you get improved aerodynamics for long casts. Once it hits the water the trace releases from the clip allowing it to flow freely in the tide. You can fish any length trace you like making this a very versatile rig for targeting flatties, hounds and rays. You can use it with a single hook or pennel hooks. A cascade swivel needs to be tied into the snood just above the hooks and the adjustable power gum stop on the Bagnall Bar allows you to set the perfect tension.
